“A welcome intrusion to the British Folk scene” – Mike Harding, Folk Radio UK

The Hawthornes are a lively indie folk band from Cheltenham, England. Combining beautiful female vocals, tight three part harmonies, driving trumpet, guitar, bass, and cajon, The Hawthornes play an eclectic set covering a wide variety of styles and genres. With a strong back catalogue of original songs and a sprinkling of excellent covers, The Hawthornes are perfect for any occasion, and have gained a reputation for delivering a powerful live show, combining thoughtful soft melodies with upbeat powerful anthems that stay with their audience for weeks.

They have supported The Hoosiers, The Phil Beer Band, Three Daft Monkeys, The Roving Crows, Terry & Jerry, Babajack and the Gerry Colvin Band. They have ingratiated stages at Lakefest, Y Not, New Forest Folk and Stratford River.
