Music In Ulpha (MiU), is a non-profit making organisation and has been running at the Browfoot Room, Ulpha in the Duddon Valley since 2011

Our aim is to provide memorable musical experiences by staging high quality, intimate, exclusive music events at affordable rates.

MiU promotes live music (principally folk, acoustic, blues and roots).

MiU presents top artists and many people can't believe how we manage to attract such prestigious acts.

MiU runs its own bar, with local real ales and quality wines (with Beer and Wine cheaper than you will find in any pub). We also have a comfortable “cabaret style” setup with candles and flowers on the tables and nibbles provided at the interval!

The concerts provide the local community and surrounding areas with an opportunity to get together at regular intervals, Because of the size of the room and layout, you watch the artist in a much more “up close and personal” way than a large concert scenario where you generally find seats are all in lines.

Below is the lineup that we have planned for the next year and beyond. Please click on the image to get further details and to purchase tickets, all of which are available now.
